AN INSIGHT INTO THE DEPARTMENT

Roganidana department is the opening to the clinical and pathological aspects of Ayurveda. This department teaches the diagnosis and understanding of the various pathology of the present era in terms of Ayurveda by the comprehensive approach of teaching incorporating the modern and Ayurveda concepts. Along with all the basic pathology test are also taught. According to the science of Ayurveda dashavidha pareeksha, nadi pareeksha, srotho pareeksha, prakruthi pareeksha, Vyadhi pareeksha, dosha pareeksha are taught for the proper understanding and diagnosis of the diseases. The vital and systemic examination according to the modern science is also dealt here. Regular case studies and presentations are done to improve the clinical understanding and the out patients department is utilized for improving the clinical exposure of the students

OUR INFRASTRUCTURE

• The department maintains a well established lab for the student to do and understand the basic pathology tests. The lab has all the basic requirement including reagents and other infrastructure to accommodate the students.
• The museum has informative charts and models which portray the concepts in Ayurveda in a creative way .
• The well flourished department library is maintained for the reference purpose.
