COVID-19 is a Pandemic caused by novel corona virus. Being a viral disease there is no specific treatment at present, but preventive measures can always be adopted. Therefore the NSS unit of NCT College distributed NCT pharmacy prepared Immunity Boosting Decoction (Kwath) among the public in and around Amreli district. Five public spots were selected within the city for distribution of kwath and the response was excellent. The major ingredients of decoction are – Dashamul Kwath Churna, Guduchi, Nimbapatra, Haridra, Haritaki, Vibhitaki. All the above drugs has jwaraghna and immune- modulating properties. Also pamphlets describing preventive measures were distributed among the public to create awareness to resist the spread of Corona virus infection.
